Penn Jr. Lacrosse would like to try to build our pipeline of goalies.  It’s an important position for the success of the program and we don't currently have an abundance of kids playing the position.  It takes a special kind of kid to want to play goalie – so figuring out which kids are open to the idea is an important start.  Would love to have around 4 kids to train as goalies for the 7th and 8th grade and 2-3 to train as goalies for the 5th and 6th grade.  With the 2nd – 4th grades – I am hoping that we can get different kids experimenting with the position each week. 

We will work with our goalies as a group in the same way as with the face off guys.  The first 10 (up to 20) minutes of each practice working on position-specific skill development.
